About Me
Pedro Almada
I'm Pedro Almada, an information manager, data journalist, and Chevening scholar with a background in socio-environmental research. I am devoted to working with organizations and institutions that want to push for positive change through effective information analysis and strategic communication.
Growing up in a small Caribbean town, I developed a passion for understanding the interconnected relationship between the environment and people.
Over the past eight years, I’ve worked on field projects with organizations like National Geographic, where I applied my data analysis and storytelling expertise to support anthropological and environmental research. Moreover, my work in the humanitarian sector with organizations like The Red Cross, Refuge Egypt, and AiWars further solidified my view that environmental and social issues are deeply interconnected.
My experience and perspective on social and environmental interconnection offer an innovative approach to data analysis and communication across sectors, bridging the gap between data and compelling stories to drive meaningful change.
